Chopper action in Lynfield

Wairaki Stream Reserve & Lynfield Cove Beach will be closed from 13 August for a month as work commences to clear blockages from the stream. Up to 35 tonnes of fallen trees will be removed via helicopter. Read more.

Auckland's new plan adopted

Following public input, the council has adopted Auckland's 10-year plan which focuses on fixing and growing infrastructure over the coming decade, with more than $39 billion to build or buy assets such as roads, pipes and buildings. More here.
