This is your chance to be part of something special! We're actively seeking Māori and Pacifica stallholders for this exciting event at the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

Here's what you need to know before applying:

    • The event starts 2 hours earlier than last year
    • There is a small charge for food stalls. This is put in place to ensure commitment, last year we had a disappointing number of no-shows.
    • Generators will be supplied by the event organisers. You must bring your cables & there will be an onsite electrician
    • Please provide your marquees and furniture for a seamless setup. You must ensure you have enough weights as you are on hard ground.
    • The stallholder area will not be on grass this year. No vehicles are permitted on the gardens or grass at any stage. Vehicle access is challenging on this site. We have moved the stallholder area to ease the logistics of pack-in. There will be staggered stallholder arrival times. We ask that you stick to these times.
    • There will be no vehicle movement permitted onsite after 9 am.
    • There will be no vehicle movement onsite until the Site Manager gives the all-clear
    • Stallholder parking will be supplied, but we can only provide 1 permit per stall.

Applications close on Sunday 27th April at 5 pm.

    Criteria/housekeeping for all stall applicants

Please be aware that we have limited site space and may not be able to accept all applications. We make all attempts to ensure a great range of stalls are on offer for the patrons of the event and to also ensure stallholders have equity of chance for their own offer.

Stallholders will not be able to choose or influence their site location. However, the event team will work with the site layout and available 'fit for purpose' terrain to ensure viable public access to all stalls sitewide.

    • All stallholders are expected to use recyclable or compostable packaging as this event is working towards zero waste to landfill - further information will be available through the event team.
    • Stallholders may not on-sell or share their site with another organisation or business without prior agreement from the event team.
    • We try to select local businesses and groups in the area first.
    • All stallholders are to provide their own equipment.
    • Stalls with gazebos/tents etc must bring their own weights and be event-ready for any weather conditions.
    • All stallholders must take care of rubbish, keeping stall areas clean and tidy at all times, including set up and pack down.
    • All goods and equipment must be within the allocated stall area. The event management team may ask you to move if you exceed your allocated site.
    • no vehicles are allowed on grass at any stage
    • All stallholders are responsible for cash handled at their site during the course of the festival. There will not be Eftpos facilities on-site, you may wish to provide your own Eftpos machine for transactions.
    • Stalls must be staffed at all times while operational.
    • Stallholders must take all reasonable steps to ensure their site is safe and they must notify the festival team of any potential hazards or concerns.
    • Security will be on hand overnight on Thursday night to allow pre-agreed stalls to be left in place. Security will be tight, however, please ensure you leave your stall secure. We do not recommend leaving stock, just equipment. Auckland Council does not accept liability

Further details will be supplied in the stallholder agreement.
