Expressions of Interest for stallholders at CultureFest 2022
CultureFest is a free multicultural festival celebrating Auckland’s rich diversity through cultural expression.
Our vision is for all Aucklanders to be proud of our multicultural city
We want the festival to enable Aucklanders to celebrate, share & experience the value and vibrancy of our multiculturalism
Stall categories
There are three types of stalls available for the 2022 festival for businesses, community groups and government:
- Food and drink
- Arts and craft
- Display/information
Criteria
We expect that all applicants for stall sites meet the following criteria:
- Stalls will be accepted based on vision for the festival.
- All details must be completed on the application form.
- Stallholders may not on-sell or share their site with another organisation or business without prior agreement from the Event Organiser.
- All stallholders who wish to apply for a stall as a Charitable Organisation must attach a copy of their Certificate of incorporation.
- All stallholders will provide and set-up their own equipment. For any equipment hire (e.g. easi-ups, tables and chairs) please book directly with a reputable supplier.
- All stallholders MUST use compostable containers, bags and serveware.
This expression of interest will take approximately 15-20 minutes to answer.
Festival Times
Please note we have changed the event times. The event now starts at 11am (1 hour later) with the mihi whakatau at 10.30am. This is because last year we didn't have enough time in the morning to pack all vehicles in and there were H&S concerns with vehicles being onsite when the public was arriving.
9 am- the last vehicle onsite
9.30 am all vehicles off-site
10.30 am Mihi whakatau
11 am event starts
Stallholder applications close 5 pm, Sunday 9 January 2022.
