Also as part of our Vision to be the number one choice for New Zealanders, our Vero website has been upgraded to Adobe Experience Manager, a market leading web platform.

We’ve been around for over 25 years and whilst we have continued to keep our content up with the times, we’re a bit behind with our documentation delivery method.  So we’ve listened to your requests to provide our marine documentation in an electronic format and have undertaken a project to do just that with our current renewal and policy documentation.

Another sea-faring expression from the book 'All Hands and the Cook' by Captain Barry Thompson:

Chundering along at eight knots and an onion

The onion was a fraction of a knot.  The expression conveys a vision of an old tramp ship sqeezing every last ounce of steam out of her boilers to make the best speed possible which, in this case, only just exceeded eight knots.
