World Environment Day
Was on 5 June

A beautiful morning we had with our amazing volunteers at Te Ara Awataha on 5th of June. It was so impressive to see many volunteers coming to learn about the local reserve's environment and celebrate World Environment Day with us by joining in the regeneration project at Jessie Tonar Scout Reserve.

Together with our amazing volunteers we have made some great progress since last year with pest plant control and regenerative planting, and the day-lighted stream showed some impressive in-stream life progress.

We are looking forward to meeting you on the next restoraion day on 3 July 2021 from 10am-12:30pm.

Thank you to Eke Panuku Development Auckland for supporting this project.
