NZME’s Radio Hauraki is a proud partner of NZ International Comedy Festival in association with Best Foods Mayo. Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Chris 'Keyzie' Key from The Big Show took to the stage at the iconic Classic on Queen St each delivering a stand-up set. The gig sold out as soon as The Big Show announced they were taking part in the Festival, and the event was filled with Radio Hauraki fans all eager to see their favourite radio hosts take the stage.    A special shout to ZM's Hayley Sproull who not only smashed her set during the Best Foods Comedy Gala, but also has her own show Wild Flutters running from 15-25 May in Wellington and Auckland! #nzme #everyoneshere

Fantastic news! NZME has won the Best Use of Print award at the 2024 International News Media Association (INMA) - INMA Global Media Awards for the Hawke's Bay Today 'Cyclone Gabrielle: Special Free Edition’ newspaper. This award honours the Hawke's Bay Today team, led by Editor Chris Hyde, who despite facing the aftermath of the cyclone themselves, banded together to create a vital piece of print media. Helping to keep a community in need connected. We also secured third place for New Zealand Herald's entry in the 'Best Brand Awareness Campaign' category and received two honourable mentions: ‘Imprint’ in the Best Idea to Grow Advertising Sales category, and BusinessDesk NZ for their entry, ‘AI-Powered Markets Coverage’ in the Best Use of AI in Customer-Facing Products category. NZME CEO, Michael Boggs, and NZME Chief Digital and Publishing Officer, Carolyn Luey, also presented at the INMA Global Media Awards in London.
