From July-December 2014, six Roundtables will gather information and report back to the Sea Change – Tai Timu Tai Pari Stakeholder Working Group (SWG). You can read more about the Roundtables, their scope and their membership here. The issues to be considered by the six Roundtables are:

  • water quality and catchments
  • Hauraki Gulf fish stocks
  • biodiversity and biosecurity
  • infrastructure for the economy and communities of the Gulf
  • aquaculture in the Gulf
  • accessible Gulf – including recreation, boating, heritage and visitors.

We’d like to hear your thoughts on issues affecting the Hauraki Gulf. In particular, what do you think about the scope of the Roundtables? Is there anything we have missed? Are there things you think we should be aware of within these topics? Pease type your comments in the boxes below then click ‘submit’ when finished.

Thanks for sharing your views. Your input is vital as we work towards securing the Hauraki Gulf as a healthy, productive and sustainable resource for all users, now and into the future.
