Did you know that on average, one tonne of compost can sequester 0.5 tonne of CO2? That means that two tonnes of compost can sequester as much carbon as a tree can in its lifetime!
Everyone produces food scraps but not everyone can compost at home. We can help with that!
A huge thanks to all those who have contributed to our compost box's fundraiser so far. We have managed to raise enough funds for one more compost box, which means that we can process an extra cubic metre of the community's food scraps every month or two. We just need enough funds for one more box and we will have the space to keep up with demand!
