On 1 December, we are launching a new WorkSafe website. The new site will bring together six websites into a single, streamlined website. The new website will work well on all mobile and tablet devices and has excellent search features to make it as easy as possible for users to find what they want.
One of these six websites is the Safer Farms website and from 1 December this website will no longer be available.
Most the Safer Farms content will be available on the new site. If you have saved a page on the Safer Farms website, the link may take you to it's place on the new website.
We’ll also have search support in place, to help make sure it’s easy to find the content you need.
Four features of the Safer Farms site won’t be moving across to the new site. These are:
- my farm plan
- risk register
- incident record
- emergency plan.
Because these tools are no longer being frequently used, we’ve decided to decommission them. If you have saved information in the risk register, the incident record and/or the emergency plan that you want to keep, log into the site by 27 November to print your materials. Unfortunately, we can’t provide you with electronic copies of your material.
We are absolutely committed to working with the agricultural industry to help get everyone home healthy and safe. We’ve a range of new projects underway, including considering what online tools could be most useful.
If you’d like any more information please contact Al McCone, Sector Lead Agriculture - Al.McCone@worksafe.govt.nz.
You can also send website feedback or ideas for new tools through to websiterequests@worksafe.govt.nz
