Hello Welcome to the Autumn edition of Building Bulletin, Auckland Council’s building update. In this bulletin we tell you which areas to focus on to pass your final inspections and obtain CCCs.We are also revising our product register and have some new guidance information about building work which does not require a consent. There is now one code of practice for land development and subdivision, which affects stormwater standards which can be found on our website and our new Builders App gives you a fast, easy way to book building inspections from your smartphone. Auckland Council recently had a decision against a chartered professional engineer (CPEng) upheld following an IPENZ disciplinary hearing. Lastly we have included news about a pressure equalized installation system- WANZ WIS System used as an alternative solution. Currently, we are in the process of changing our application forms into writable PDF formats for your convenience. The first set of writable PDF forms is now available on the forms webpage.
