Angel at My Table event, July 14th: calling all start-ups

Martin KeyteAre you, or do you know, an entrepreneur who’s looking for funding? Our Angel at my Table event is scheduled for Tuesday July 14th and we’re looking for early stage companies to present to our judges and audience. It’s a great opportunity to practice pitching to potential angel investors. The Angel at my Table event is one of the most popular nights on the NZSA calendar. June event: Geoff Olliff, co-founder and director of ViFX

As a Director and Co-Founder of ViFX, Geoff is passionately involved in the transformational nature of the cloud-computing phenomenon. His overwhelming belief is that this transformation has the power to radically improve business in New Zealand through agility, scale and flexibility. Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for the NZSA will be held at 5.30pm on Tuesday 9 June 2015, just before the June networking event.

At the AGM the President, Gavin Lennox, will provide his annual report and go through the financial accounts for the last financial year. The AGM will conclude with the election of the Executive for the 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016

Call for nominations for the election of the Executive

The NZSA is governed by the Executive, which must comprise between 6 to 8 members. The current Executive now calls for nomination of members who wish to be candidates for election to the Executive. All candidates should email their nomination and a brief profile to the President at president@nzsa.org.nz by Friday June 5th, 2015.

NZSA legal templates now included in Corporate Membership

Great news for Corporate members. As part of your coprorate membership you are now entitled to access the complete suite of legal templates prepared by our sponsor Hudson Gavin Martin, a boutique commercial and corporate law firm specialising in technology, media and intellectual property. The suite of legal templates includes a confidentiality agreement, software licence agreement, software development agreement, independent contractor agreement, reseller agreement and distribution agreement, which are widely used by our members. If you purchased the legal templates any time after 1 April 2014 we are happy to provide you with one year's free company membership at your next renewal to recognise the change in the way that we are offering the legal templates.

You will be eligible to access these documents provided you are a fully paid up corporate member.
