North Shore City Archives collections now on online

Earlier this year a significant project was completed to convert the ex-North Shore City archives hard-copy finding aids onto the Archives online database.  The database is accessible via the Auckland Council website and now contains more than 44,000 entries, with the earliest records dating from 1867.

The records come from Birkenhead City Council, Devonport Road Board, Borough Council and Domain Board, East Coast Bays City Council, Northcote Borough Council, North Shore City Council, North Shore Drainage Board, Rangitoto Island Domain Board and Takapuna City Council.
